Since 1988 Saxon Engineering have been manufacturing conveyor systems ranging from the basic Material Handling Solutions such as the simple "load and roll" orange image on the right to more complex "processor" type conveyors like the "green" photo below which have materials coming into a central area to be processed and then moved onto the next phase of design or construction.

Rolls Royce 1995
Commissioned in 1995 to lift and shift finished vehicles from the ‘C’ hooks of an over-head conveyor to ground floor level.

Our Customers include normal people like Bob down the road who runs a small business up to Rolls Royce (both mobile and aeronautical) to Several Government Customs agencies which have installed our Heavy Goods Vehicle conveyors at their borders so that they can use industrial x-ray machines to detect smugglers at work.

Heavy Vehicle Conveyor Systems
HGV transporter systems for customs x-ray facility are an example of our bespoke engineering abilities. One type picks up the vehicle front axle and pulls the truck through the beam whilst the other is a flatbed on which the truck sits whilst being carried through the beam.

These systems are supplied to various countries customs departments. The flatbeds were installed into two buildings at Chinese border crossings. These are used to carry up to 60 metric Tonne vehicles through an x-ray so the contents of the vehicle can be inspected with out being unloaded. All the controls are self contained and they travel automatically in a square loop.
